ANTIQUE FRENCH PORCELAIN WEDDING VASE
A stunning and beautiful 19th Century antique French wedding vase made of porcelain with a hand painted floral design, gilded edges and a fluted finish.
The vase has the makers' initial to the base, which appears to be the letter 'R' and measures 23cm in height.
In France, it was a wedding tradition for the bride to choose the colour and style of the vase which would be gifted to her by a close family member which she would then use to display her wedding flowers.
Condition: There is a small chip on the front at the base, some of the gild has worn away and there is a hair line crack to the base.
