PIRKENHAMMER 'ELKA' COFFEE SET
An iconic porcelain 'ELKA' coffee set designed in 1957 by Jaroslav Jezek and made in Pirkenhammer, Czechoslovakia. The set comprises of an abstract coffee pot, sugar bowl and cream jug decorated with a flower motif and stamped to the base with the mark of the crossed hammers, which is the Pirkenhammer symbol.
Jaroslav Jezek won the Grand Prix at the Brussels World Expo in 1958 for the 'ELKA' design coffee service.

Condition: In very good vintage condition with minimal signs of age and use.
